Telegraph Road Journal Page

It was a beautiful rainy day here in Hervey Bay. There is nothing more that I enjoy than to take a coffee to my studio and sip my coffee while creating with some great supplies that I picked up from Kreative Koncepts.

Ellie's Bear

Last October I participated in a workshop run by Denise Daffara with a group of wonderful ladies. As normal I was having too much fun to complete my canvas but am happy to say I have finally finished her. I have composed a little flip through of how my painting came to be.

You can read about the workshop here on Denise's blog We all had the most amazing weekend.

I have also started a Facebook page "Anne Cahill - Must Love Paint". I would love for you to come and join me.

LuLuArt Design Team Projects 3-6

Wow......6 months on the Design Team for LuluArt has flown and what a great experience it has been. I have enjoyed ever moment of it and have made some wonderful arty friends along the way.

Even though I have been absent from my blog I have indeed been working on my art every moment time permitted. Working 10-12 hours in my day job can be draining but I find as soon as I enter my art room I feel recharged again :)

There will be a new Design Team Announced shortly to kick off the month March, be sure to check out LuluArt to keep up with the new projects and wonderful products that are available. I wish the new Design Team all the best and know they will be in great hands with Lisa.

Make yourself a cuppa and sit back :)
Happy arting until next time XX

LuluArt Design Team Project No 2

Life can be a crazy ride at times, but what keeps me grounded is creating art. It allows me to process life's event and put them into perspective.

My 2nd month on the Design Team for LuLu Art has come around quickly indeed. This time around I wanted to share a Teddy Bear Design. I adore Teddy's and love to create them. My challenge was to use some of the gorgeous Christy Tomlinson products. I can see myself having to buy more....I love them so much.

Don't forget to check out the other great designs from the Team at LuluArt's Blog.

LuluArt Design Team

I can't believe I was picked by Lisa to be one of LuluArt Design Team Members.

On the team are also 3 very talented ladies, Monika, Robyn and Cassandra. Over the coming weeks we will all be sharing some designs along with how we created the project. Be sure to pop over to LuluArt Blog and to also visit the LuluArt Store for all your creative needs. You will be amazed at what is on offer, and Lisa is constantly growing the range.

Here is my first Design Team Project I hope you like it. I just had a ball playing with all the products.

I created these little tags with the left over Dylusions Ink from my silicone sheet.

Fun with Tags

This afternoon I slipped away into my art room and created this tag. I captured a few photos along the way so I could share with you the process and to show the different mediums I used along the way.

As usual I went in blind and had no real design thoughts before picking up the pencil. What every felt right is what I picked up. As usual the hardest part was actually starting :)

There were Col-erase pencils, Prismacolor pencils, white paint pen, acrylic paint, Tombow pens, a stamp, bits of a serviette. Hope I didn't leave anything out.
